Total commitment to crane technology one ever was built by us. Your advantages: shorter storage times, trouble-free logistics, greater efficiency. Our unique portfolio of crane technology even comprises special cranes for nuclear power plants. Our position as a technology leader is very impressively underlined by these thoughtout intelligent systems. With its research and development, Noell Crane Systems is far ahead of other players in the industry. Already today we can fulfill the demands of tomorrow. See the following pages to find out why.
Harbor cranes often encounter the forces of nature, such as typhoons, hurricanes, and tidal waves. And every day they are exposed to aggressive sea salt. That is why static and material design call for the kind of exceptional care that Noell Crane Systems GmbH has firmly adhered to ever since - German engineering at its best. Your advantage: unbeatable quality. We develop individual solutions for high-performance terminals - straddle carriers and rubber- tyred / rail-mounted gantry cranes, as well as ship-to-shore cranes. Our cranes are also growing larger and faster - in fact, the largest
With heights of up to 120m and boom lengths of over 60m, the size of our ship-to-shore cranes corresponds to container ships that are big enough to accommodate several soccer fields on deck. These loading systems function as links that are crucial for the handling of containers at ports. All over the world, more than 100 Noell Gantry Cranes operate smoothly day after day, demonstrating the quality of fine German engineering. As a global supplier, Noell Crane Systems GmbH produces this quality at various ultramodern plants around the world.
Stacking cranes are used for container handling. They are required in container storage areas and at rail-to-road interfaces. They are suitable for the loading and unloading of trucks and freight cars, as well as the storage and retrieval of containers in storage yards. In intermodal operations from road to rail, stacking cranes are also used to transfer semi-trailers and interchangeable bodies. Every day, more than 300 Noell stacking cranes throughout the world prove their reliability and make container handling extremely economical.
Straddle carriers are used for the transport and stacking of containers. They are suitable for universal use and reach unequalled speeds. With stacking heights of up to 3 + 1 and carrying capacities of up to 50 t, they are used at container terminals of all sizes. They are also utilized for the loading and unloading of freight cars and trucks. Noell Crane Systems is one of the world's foremost manufacturers in this field and has supplied close to 1,000 of these machines up to now. Their size and agility make straddle carriers the most flexible means of conducting a container terminal. right side: Straddle Carriers ready to do their job: picking up discharched containers and taking them to the places that were assigned to them.

High end terminals searching for up-to-the-edge technical solutions to convince their customers to be their port of call, are looking for horizontal transport solutions, which can fulfil their need of high efficiency with maximum performance. This is why container shuttle services via Straddle Carriers have proven to be particularly favourable in unloading container ships quickly, most flexible, and reliable and why these terminals have chosen a Straddle Carrier from Noell Crane Systems. Enhancing this idea Noell Crane Systems is making a further unbeatable transport concept available which matches the many advantages of the Noell Straddle Carrier with future demands of terminal operators, and is therefore the added value solution for the high-speed terminals of the future: As with the Straddle Carrier before it, the Sprinter Carrier is convincing due to its high efficiency. It can for example load and unload containers independently, and is therefore capable of relieving the Ship-to-Shore-Container-Gantry-Crane operators from time-consuming co-ordination with passive systems such as AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) or Terminal Tractors. Agility and a handling capacity of 1 over 1 guarantees its great manoeuvrability both on the quay and at the stacks
All of the required x-ray inspection equipment and capabilities are built into the Eagle. As the Eagle drives past a truck, a beam of x rays is emitted from the x-ray source, passes through the truck and is measured by the detectors. The resulting x-ray image displays the structure of the truck and the contents of its cargo. The Eagle's high-energy x rays are more powerful than other mobile inspection systems and can penetrate at least 300 mm of steel.
